Your First Month: Merchant Processing

On day one of practice ownership, you need a merchant terminal in place and ready to accept payment from your patients.  And there are more merchant processing companies than there are unaccepted treatment plans. They all have their reasons why their solution is better than the next. Although we can't cover all the complexities of the payment processing structure in our economy, we can nevertheless explain some key concepts that may help you in choosing your merchant provider and processing plan.
